| Cheese or Ham? That's how my version of the Parallel Universe (sort of) theory came around |

Yesterday during a conversation with Ryan, when he mentioned about my 'not taking decisions fast' stance by using asking what difference between choosing something simple, like between a Cheese Sandwich or a Ham Sandwich. What difference could it make? By choosing ham, you could contract minor food poisoning and end up changing the outlook on your life, and eating ham. Yet by choosing cheese you could avoid that case of food poisoning and stay in your same state of mind.
So 'What's this to do with parallel universes?' I hear you ask!
I use the term Parallel Universes to describe the different pathways the world could take. Simply put, anytime you could have took another decision, you're life could have been changed. They are parallel, we can't get to them... they never meet. So if you would have took that other choice, another possible existance of yourself would occur. Reality has many bizzare coincidences doesn't it? I mean what where the chances that life would evolve in this way only? What if instead of apes evolving into the main thinking species on the planet it was big cats? That thought came from anime cat girls :D but moving on. What if they evolved into the main beings? Would it be possible that there would still be versions of each and every one of us just as cat people? Would they be sitting right now doing whatever you are doing? Would life as we know it be any different from now, except as cats? Would they keep little apes as pets like we keep cats as pets? This is all in the realms of science fiction, though it does seem reasonable in a crazy sort of way.
Now this is where it all gets more crazy! What if thoughts, ideas and memories could pass through on rare ocassions? Noticed how sometimes there was a sudden technological leap in the world? Is there a slight possibility that under different decisions / occurences that leap wouldn't have occurred like that? But that the people there worked for it, then found it out. Then under the intense excitement of the researchers, their thoughts could have escaped that version of things and into the others, causing the sudden realisation of how to do things, 'Eureka!' springs to mind.

Found out that my short story I wrote for a contest came in in the top 10, giving me a spot in the Europe Lord of the Rings Online Beta when it comes out. And school said my english was bad. Watched ALL of Wolf's Rain over the weekend, it was really good... more like f*cking awesome. Found out that Adult Swim is on Bravo now, but anime free. Then I found out about this Channel Rapture TV, it shows anime 8:30 pm gmt on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (Thursday looks like a wierd word right now...) and Fridays. |

Today I done the lineart of CotH2- Vicky. Then after that something made me want to colour it, so I did. Now lets see how that turned out.

| Me + New Pens = :D |

After the gym today, I accidently withdrew too much cash, so I decided to buy my self 3 new pens to waste some of it. Ryan and Scott said I was daft to buy more pens, but they where just jealous. Well upon returning home I thought "I better test these new pens!" So I rushed upstairs and grabbed my pile of sketchbooks and drawings and ran back downstairs with them. Dropped them on the floor and started to test my pens.
Pen #1 is a 0.05 nib liner pen very light indeed, I used it to draw eyes, some loose hair and fur on a tauren.
Pen #2 is a 0.2 nib liner pen, its finer than my old pen (0.7) and still gives a decent line, I used this for Inner lines, and writing.
And Pen #3, well it's some sort of marker pen I think, Used it to colour bigger areas of white black, such as hair.
So anyway! I was looking through my drawings and thought "I'll use them on my Children Of The Horde Comic series!" So I started away, using my old 0.7 for all the outer lines (hair body etc), then the 0.2 on the inner lines (Eyebrows, joins in clothes, little shock marks infront of his face) and the 0.05 on the eyes and all the fur. I then took the marker pen and went colored all the hair! Went over all the text next and erased all the pencil marks and BAM! it's done.
So it seems now I'll do comic sketch -> line art -> next comic -> line art and so on. Or maybe comic -> comic -> line art -> line art |

| Children Of The Horde 2 |

This is the second in the series, In which we meet Vicky, an Orc orphan thats training to be a rogue. She has just aquired the funds to enroll in Horde High, and is on the way there. I am gonna work abit more on the main project then come back to this later this week.
I know what is going to be in the next one so it's not that I'm short on ideas... Honestly!

| Children Of the Horde 1 - Grey |

Well I decided to show some of my comics I've been working on in my spare time between proper comics.
It's called Children of the Horde, and it's about .. well name says it all, the next generation of Horde Children that are living in a new age, where there parents have fought for their benifit! It will feature comical takes on WoW quests and gameplay eventually but it is just a side project. Starts off the characters going to the Hordes New High School. It's all going to be pencil sketches, as it's a side project.
In this one, we meet the Tauren called Grey. Grey is the son of a Raider, and comes from a good background, for a Tauren, he has led a sheltered life and hasn't seen any of the other Horde Races yet. He is a Warrior in training, like his father before him.
Now that I've built up so much suspense, now for the big let down, the comic!

Been playing FFVII and Battlefield 2 way too much, not done much drawing worth posting, done a few cruddy comics, unrelated to the main. NEED TO BUY INK STILL!
I'm just about to go onto disk 3 in FFVII, but I think I'll get all the Knights of the Round summon which will take ages though.
Have a strange urge to paint too... wierd...
I blame not being at Uni for messing with my body clock! |

Yep, I got guitar hero today after I went to the gym, played it for awhile (Ace of Spades on expert killed me) then got 2 past papers, then I got bored and ordered 2 how to draw manga books. One has supplies too :D Should be here this week. I also was practicing new colouring techniques, they are really quite awesome, found out the method I used to clean my line art was the long way of doing it, you can clean it all in 2 clicks. Which is nice I suppose.
Going to go Sleep now, need to get up at 7am :( |

Been listening to 'Can't touch this' alot, also saw an old clip of the MC hammer cartoon, Hammerman. Makes me wish I, still, had magic shoes :D.
Drew a picture of Red XIII from FFVII and scanned it in. Took me AGES to clean up the drawing, so I just cropped a portion and coloured it in fast. Then I shrunk it to tiny size to use as my avatar here for awhile, also put my logo on :D |

My Adviser phoned up electronics and they said I can sit the full exam and get full credit :D
Played more FFVII : Need to go confront Sephiroth in the "Temple of Ancients". I also got Yuffie and Vincent in my team now.
I also looked up alot of tutorials on drawing and photoshop. Made a little logo with my initials. I also drew a picture of Vincent from FFVII, and coloured it using some of the tricks I've learned in photoshop. Right now I am fixing up little blocks of white that remain, looks quite impressive as my display pic atm, still alot of work to go though, need to add a bit of shadow around the eye.

Draw another guy from FFVII (Reno or Biggs may be next)
Practice drawing hands, facial expressions and hair

Haven't done much in the passed two days, added a bit here and there in the comic. Played FF7 yesterday for awhile. Drew a picture of a wrecked street, not coloured or scanned yet. Need to contact my adviser about switching to just digital electronics, and find 10 extra credits :( |

First of all, I drew, scanned and coloured a body for ryans guy, still a bit of work, but its getting there. Then I done a quick drawing of a ninja, I'm letting you all see the ninja, as it isn't directly related to my comic yet.
I drew this, as there are too many PIRATES* out there on the net, you know who I'm talking about!
*real pirates, with eyepatches peg legs and hooks are exempt from this accusation |

I scanned in the page from the sketchbook that has the first comic laid out, I completely finished a full sketch of me. Tomorrow I am going to draw a body for Ryans guy. Speaking of Ryans guy, I scanned, cleaned up and coloured a drawing of ryan that was done by lesley and sent it to the both of them :D
First comic may be ready for the net soon*
